What the 8th house covers
The 8th house sits opposite the 2nd. Where the 2nd is what is yours, the 8th is what is shared or owed: a partner's income, a mortgage, taxes, an inheritance. It also covers emotional and sexual intimacy, where the same question of trust applies.
Traditionally it is the house of death; in modern reading it is the house of endings and what is reborn after them.
