Editorial standards & methodology
Published by PineSeed Pty Ltd. Last updated 5 October 2026.
Horoscope Vibes is run by PineSeed Pty Ltd, a small Australian company. Planet positions, dates and birth charts are calculated from an astronomical ephemeris. The writing (horoscopes, articles, sign and compatibility guides, and Vera's replies) is machine-written and checked by automated rules. No astrologer writes or reviews it, and no person reads each piece before it goes live.
Who writes it
The words on this site are machine-written, working from real planetary positions and the traditions of Western astrology. The byline "Horoscope Vibes Editorial Team" names the site, not a group of writers.
We make no claim that anyone involved holds an astrology qualification. There are no fact checkers and no editorial reviewers. The operator sets the rules the writing follows, reads correction requests, and can edit or remove anything.
How horoscopes are made
Each daily, weekly and monthly reading starts from that day's real sky: where the Sun, Moon and planets are, which are retrograde, and which aspects are exact. Each sign's reading is then machine-written from those positions.
Before a reading is stored it must pass automated checks on length, structure and wording. A sign whose reading fails is left out rather than published. Readings that pass go live without a person reading them first.
How articles are made
Articles are machine-written in the same way, from a list of topics people search for. Each one is checked automatically for length, headings, links, reading level and metadata. It is also checked for claims we cannot stand behind: surveys, studies, tests or panels this site never ran, statistics with no linked source, and any mention of a rival app or website.
An article that passes can be published automatically, without a person reading it. One that fails is kept as a draft with the reasons recorded. A daily sweep tidies drafts (headings, links, title length) and publishes any that then pass; the rest wait for the operator to fix or delete.
What is calculated, and what is interpretation
Planet positions, moon phases, retrograde dates, void of course windows and birth charts are calculated from an astronomical ephemeris. They are checkable facts, the same sky an almanac shows. When a birth time is missing we do not claim a rising sign, Midheaven or houses.
What a placement means is interpretation from astrological tradition. It is not science, and it is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
Vera
Vera's replies are machine-written in the same way, from your own chart, cast when you enter your birth details. No astrologer sits behind the conversation.
The public question archive holds two kinds of entry: questions from real sittings whose owners ticked the box to share them, rewritten so no one can be identified, and questions written from a chart pattern people search for. The operator approves each entry before it appears.
Sources, and what we will not publish
Astronomical facts come from an astronomical ephemeris and can be checked against public data. Meanings come from Western astrological tradition and are presented as interpretation. A statistic needs a named source with a link, or the article is held back.
Invented credentials, quotes, reviews, testimonials, surveys, studies or audience figures. Reviews or comparisons of other astrology apps and sites. Pages that only swap a sign name are kept out of search results until they say something of their own.
Corrections
Found something wrong (a date, a fact about a real person, a quote, a broken page)? Use the contact form with the subject "Report an Error / Correction". The operator reads every request and fixes or removes what is wrong. A corrected article shows its new "Last updated" date. Open the contact form.
